I had a hard time taking myself seriously as an artist - creating has always been something I enjoy and am good at, but I’ve always just called it a hobby. Maybe so that I didn’t have to take myself seriously, or put myself out there. Knowing that I can make stuff and have it resonate with strangers is an intimately vulnerable feeling. I look forward to exploring more artistic avenues and shedding my ego as I learn what it means to be an artist.
